Building skills for everyday life
Occupational Therapy
Helping children participate in daily activities, learning and play with confidence.
Helping children thrive
What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational therapy supports children to participate in the meaningful "occupations" of childhood – play, self-care, learning and social interaction.
Our OTs work with children who may be experiencing difficulties with fine motor skills, sensory processing, handwriting, self-care tasks, attention, emotional regulation, or participation in daily activities at home, school or in the community.
We use play-based, child-led therapy approaches to engage children while building the underlying skills they need to succeed. We also work closely with families and educators to ensure strategies are practical and can be embedded into everyday routines.
