Supporting communication & connection

Speech Pathology

Helping children express themselves, understand others and connect with the world around them.

Speech Pathology

Finding their voice

What is Speech Pathology?

Speech pathology involves the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of communication delays and disorders in children – including speech, language, fluency, voice and social communication.

Our Speech Pathologists also support children with feeding and swallowing difficulties, and work with families to introduce alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) strategies when needed.

We believe every child deserves to be heard and understood. Our therapy is play-based, engaging and tailored to each child's interests and goals.

How we can help

What Does Speech Pathology Help With?

Speech pathology can support children who may be experiencing challenges with:

Unclear speech, difficulty being understood, or trouble pronouncing certain sounds.

Language Development

Understanding words and sentences, building vocabulary, or expressing thoughts clearly.

Social Communication

Conversation skills, understanding non-verbal cues, making friends and social interaction.

Literacy & Reading

Phonological awareness, reading, spelling and written language skills.

Fluency / Stuttering

Supporting children who stutter or have disrupted speech flow.

Feeding & Swallowing

Fussy eating, chewing, swallowing difficulties and mealtime challenges.
