What is Paediatric Physiotherapy?

Paediatric physiotherapy is the assessment, treatment and management of children from 0-18 years of age experiencing developmental delays, musculoskeletal, neurological and genetic conditions. Paediatric physiotherapists use evidence-based research to provide the latest intervention and management techniques to ensure every child reaches their goals.

Physiotherapy involves age appropriate, fun play-based therapy to improve your child’s range of motion, strength, balance, coordination and endurance. All interventions are family-centred and we ensure that your child is supported throughout their life at home, school and in the community.

Sprout Health Physiotherapists use multiple techniques to improve your child’s condition via exercise therapy, gait retraining, casting/splinting, endurance training, neurodevelopmental therapies and equipment prescription.
